Taco Del Sol

The food is good, but as with Mexican food in Vietnam, it's a little overpriced for what it is and what you get. The cheaper version of the loaded fries is 95K/$3.75. It seemed a little small, but it was well covered with toppings. It looks good and tasted pretty good. The burritos don't come with cheese, so I had to pay 35K/$1.35 to get cheese in mine. It was pretty minimal cheese. I tried the Al Pastor (190K/$7.45), which is pork. I liked the Tex-Mex rice in it, and it tasted pretty good, but it's not very big. I got an horchata (80K/$3.15). Considering how cheap they are in the US (maybe they've gone up in price?) and the size they usually are when you get one... it's a little disappointing when you see such a small cup of it. It did taste as it should, and it was good. There was a large cube of ice, which means you get even less of the drink. I was given one free shot of whatever the guy gave me (I didn't quite hear him), tasted like pomegranate something. I had gone on Tuesday, completely not thinking about Taco Tuesday, and saw a notice about it after I had already ordered. I'm guessing there's a special price for tacos, and I would have gotten one or two, but I thought I had already spent enough money for what I ordered. On top of that, apparently, burritos were on sale from 3-5 pm (or something), and I was there around 6... so I missed out on both of those. With the 5% service charge and 8% VAT, my meal was 453,600 ($17.80)... which is a lot more than I initially intended to spend on dinner. I didn't feel very full afterward, either.
