Clevedon Pier & Heritage Trust is a beautifully restored 1869 pier, featuring a Japanese pagoda and glass restaurant for seaside dining. It is the only Grade 1* listed pier in the UK and was originally built as a landing point for paddle steamers. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the Severn Estuary to Wales and indulge in coffee and cake at the pagoda cafe.
A wonderful place for a micro-wedding. SUCH a cool backdrop that will be sure to wow your guests. Loved working here and looking forward to coming back!

Parking is sparse, so grab the first place you can, pier is £5 to enter but the ticket is valid all year, it also has some really nice souvenirs , there is a little cafe at the beginning of the pier which has food and drink and the lower floor has a porthole window where you can see under the pier , grade 1 listed beautiful and quintessential
Caley T — Google review
Great place to have a stroll to the end of the pier. Read the history of the pier, look back at the Clevedon shoreline, and have a bite to eat in the Glass Box café on the Pier. The food was reasonably priced and was presented very well. Buy a ticket to walk the Pier, and you never pay again for a whole year!
Martin N — Google review
Very interesting place. It's £5 to visit but this lasts a year but you must bring your receipt when you visit again. A very nice gift shop with helpful ladies. Please note this business does not accept cash. Very nice clean toilets downstairs in a restaurant which very unusually has a porthole view of the pier underneath. There are lots of plaques which can be bought mainly for loved ones who have passed away.
Ann J — Google review
Really nice walk to the end. Make sure you look around as each plank has name plaques on them as do the seats. Displays of plants/flowers are also on display. Great views up and down the coast. £5 gets you a whole year's entry. Just across the road there is an old Victorian drinking fountain.

My girlfriend's birthday was coming up, so I booked a table at the restaurant for Saturday. The journey from Weston-super-Mare to Clevedon by public transport is not straightforward, but we managed to get there. That day was very rainy, with heavy downpours. However, when we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The restaurant’s location is stunning. Appropriately named "Glassbox," you can sit inside and watch the rain pour down while enjoying views of the pier. The harbor has survived for a long time, and you can feel the marks of time there. The food was good, though, to be honest, a bit on the pricey side. However, Clevedon itself (or rather the village) is beautiful and welcoming. We were convinced that on sunny days, the town has even more to offer. And on foggy days, when the wind sweeps across the sea, there's a peaceful silence at the pier that you don’t want to leave. Conclusion: You should visit this restaurant at least once in your life. Very friendly, clean, and a beautiful glass box! While eating, you can see the sky perfectly clear!
Pouya M — Google review
We visited this beautiful picturesque pier in a very quaint coastal town in England. Went to this pier because One direction filmed a video here. But we also ate lunch the glass box restaurant which was lovely. All the staff were very friendly. The pier was beautiful.

If you ever find yourself in North Somerset and fancy a mix of stunning views, history, and a bit of pop culture, Clevedon Pier is a must see. It’s honestly one of those places that sneaks up on you with how charming it is. First off, the history is really cool. The pier originally opened way back in 1869 and was used as a landing point for paddle steamers that brought tourists over from South Wales. So it’s been a seaside hotspot for literal generations. You really get a sense of how important it was to the community and how much effort has gone into preserving it. There’s even a little museum area at the entrance with info about the original Elton family, who were closely tied to the pier’s early days. It adds a nice personal touch knowing this place wasn’t just a structure — it was a part of someone’s life and legacy. Now for the pop culture bonus. If you're a One Direction fan, you’ll probably recognize it straight away. The “You & I” music video was filmed right here and you can totally see why. The views across the Bristol Channel are stunning, especially at sunset. It’s got that moody, cinematic vibe without even trying. Perfect for a slow stroll and some photos, whether you’re into 1D or just into cool spots. It costs £5 to get in, but here’s the nice bit — if you keep your receipt, you can come back as many times as you like for the rest of the year without paying again. So it’s basically a season pass in disguise, which is a lovely touch. Another really touching detail is the memorial plaques on the benches along the pier. Each one is dedicated to someone who has passed away, and reading through them gives the place an even more personal and emotional feel. It’s like the pier holds little pieces of people’s stories. Really lovely and respectful. There’s a sweet little gift shop at the entrance too. Not just the usual seaside tat either. They’ve got proper local crafts, cute souvenirs, and even some nice books and cards. It feels thoughtful and well curated, not just touristy. You can tell the Heritage Trust really cares about keeping the place special and supporting local artists too. All in all, Clevedon Pier has this peaceful, nostalgic feel to it. It’s not flashy or over the top, but that’s part of the charm. It’s like stepping into a different pace of life for a bit. Whether you’re into history, nice views, a bit of 1D fan nostalgia, or just a good cup of tea by the sea, it’s totally worth a visit.

A stunningly, beautiful coastal path along Clevedon cliffs, packed full of interesting history, charm and scenic vistas. The well maintained path follows the coast along the cliff tops from the marine lake to St Andrews church. There are numerous sites of interest along the way including an old shipping lookout and a bunker in addition to numerous seated areas along the route which allow visitors to pause and absorb the incredible landscape.

Bodies of Water
Clevedon Marine Lake, built in 1929 and recently restored, is a massive tidal infinity pool located in the stunning backdrop of the Bristol Channel. Spanning an impressive 15,000 square meters, it's often referred to as the world's largest infinity pool. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as swimming (if you don't mind the chilly 13.5 degrees C water), hiring sailboats and canoes, or even trying out zorbing on the water.
Absolutely beautiful promenade! Very clean, well lit and a very therapeutic walk with my partner and dog. The autumnal sunset was incredible to see.

A lovely experience today at Clevedon Marine Lake. The place was clean and spacious. Everyone seemed friendly and was there to enjoy themselves. There is limited parking so arriving early is essential. Make sure to bring money to pay for the 'pay and display' ticket. The grounds are well kept and I good order. I believe the playground was recently upgraded, which showed as everything looked in good order. Didn't have a swim but did have a look around and it all seemed pleasant. Lots of paddleboards out. A point to note is that I didn't see any toilets. There is however a pub / restaurant which I'm sure offers such services. A few stalls around, coffee and eats. Overall, a really enjoyable day out.

Clevedon Marine Lake is a unique, enclosed part of the sea that has been transformed into a safe, accessible spot for swimming and outdoor activities. It’s a lovely place to enjoy a refreshing dip while spotting intriguing jellyfish, as seen in the video I posted, adding a touch of nature’s wonder. The scenic walk around the lake is perfect for a leisurely stroll, offering stunning views. For those seeking more excitement, there's plenty to do—paddleboarding, mini obstacle courses, and more. Please note, dogs are not allowed, ensuring a peaceful environment for all visitors. A fantastic place for both relaxation and adventure!

Clevedon Marine Lake has been on my must-swim list for far too long and today I finally managed to swim here 🙌 High tide was at 7am, which was convenient because before 8am the car park is free. An absolutely beautiful spot that I imagine gets very extremely busy in the summer. This morning there were a few locals in the water when we arrived but that was it. We pretty much had it to ourselves. I will be back for sure. You can donate online to help maintain it foe everyone, which I will do now I'm home.

Absolutely love this place. Nice to see it so busy when the sun's out 🌞 Safe - accessible - friendly - bonus is Nead a Coffee being onsite.

Perfect location to do a Kayaking or some boating activities for a family. You can bring your own or there is a place to hire. Depths in the lake is marked on a map and marked by using buoys. There is a kids area with shallow water separately. Coffee shops and a restaurant around. Paid parking available at a reasonable rate by the council.
Thilanka S — Google review
A free-for-all public marine pool, maintained by the Marlens volunteers. Water quality is checked regularly, and usually reports as better than the sea water that fills it. Wide walkways for sunbathing and passing through, with adequate ramp access down to the pool, and into the pool itself. Wildlife lovers can find all manner of marine life, including eels, crabs, fish, jellyfish (non-stinging), and more besides, including the bats along the tree line at dusk. West facing, so in summer you can often swim as you watch the sun set on your perfect outdoor dip.

Murrays of Clevedon, situated on Hill Road, is a family-owned establishment that serves as a versatile daytime destination. It features a bakery, deli, and an Italian wine shop where patrons can enjoy coffee, cakes, and snacks.
See a lot of stuff on social media about hidden gems and the like....always thought it a little disingenuous. However 😁. Clevedon is a little out of the way....but one should really make the effort if only to see the pier and visit the amazing Murray's. Been doing wood burning stove Italian food long before food influencers were ever a thing. Go for the pizza but stay for the Italian main courses and pasta. Make sure to also grab some of the delicious stuff you just had to eat from the deli next door. the staff are friendly and helpful and it also boasts a great wine list. Enjoy!

As a builder I do eat my fair share of breakfasts 😅. But this breakfast at Murrays is pretty much as good as it's gonna get. Fantastic ingredients put on the plate with skill. Great service too. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu👌🏼

The Parma Ham lasagna is the best dish in Clevedon and I’d recommend calling in advance to reserve it! Also a big fan of the breakfasts, when they have steak on the menu, same for deep fried artichokes, the tasting boards… The deli is pretty fab too. One of our favourite spots in Clevedon.

Incredible pizza!!!! I was drinking in the pub down the road; decided i needed a feed, and the locals all reccomend this place. In my drunken state i ordered a pizza with olives (my least favourite food) and it was unbelievably good!!!!! Has rocked my world view!!! I also got a garlic bread, and a Margherita pizza. Both also incredible! (Get the mozzarella on the gralic bread, its worth it!) Super nice staff! It was exactly the wait time they said, just enough time for another pint. Love it xxx made my night! Great price for takeaway too. Treat yo' self!

Visited March 23'. Loving relaxed dining experience with friends. Murrays is a small restaurant so worth booking, but you may be lucky for a walk in. The dishes are thoughtfully put together with amazing seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. We had a lovely evening and thoroughly enjoyed all of our dishes. My wife is a Coeliac and they were very aware of what adaptations and cross contamination risks, so she ate with confidence. Thanks Murrays - we'll be back soon x

Enjoyed the deli on many occasions but this was our first visit to the restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Really interesting menu with lots of local produce and a couple of veggie starters and mains. Dishes were all really tasty and well presented. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and excellent service.

Wine bar
Nestled in a charming locale, Junior Poon Chinese Restaurant & Wine Bar offers an exquisite dining experience that showcases the rich flavors of Peking and Szechuan cuisine. The restaurant features a sophisticated ambiance, highlighted by its plush wine bar located in a beautifully vaulted basement. This elegant setting is perfect for those looking to indulge in authentic Asian dishes while enjoying a carefully curated selection of wines.
First time visitor to this establishment for a Birthday dinner. If the restaurant has been trading over 30 years, it must be doing something right ! We were warmly greeted on arrival and the friendly and informative staff were most attentive in making sure everything was to our satisfaction. The decor was pleasant and clean and the atmosphere both warm and welcoming. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty, exactly as described in the menu. We had one of the House Set Meals and the whole dining experience was most enjoyable, both unhurried and attentive. It has been quite some time since we have had such an enjoyable meal as this. I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment as a first-class dining experience to anyone who appreciates fine food and where customer satisfaction is paramount from the hard-working staff. Many thanks to all concerned in making our visit an unforgettable experience.

Thank you for an excellent evening. The food was fantastic. Staff very friendly and attentive. Cannot fault anything. Special thank you to the "Boss" who solved he taxi crisis. One on our list to revisit again when on the English side of the Bridge.

The restaurant is well decorated and has a sophisticated vibe to it. The service is excellent and the staff are very attentive. Overall, the food is good. It’s less Chinese take away tastes and flavours but more of a gourmet spin. However, the portions are decent. The only slight complaint is the egg fried rice was very plain and almost tasted just like plain rice. The egg flavour was almost not distinguishable, which was a little disappointing.

Excellent Chinese fine dining restaurant in a very nice and vibrant road. We immensely enjoyed the food, and the people there were all super friendly and perfectly skilled. I loved the modern and yet classic interior and their sitting places outside. Just wished it could be less noisy with mellow music in the background. The pudding menu was surprisingly rich and tempting.

PURO Restaurant & Bar, located in Clevedon, Somerset, England, is a popular dining spot that has garnered positive reviews on Tripadvisor. Situated at 7 Station Road, this welcoming establishment offers a comfortable and leisurely experience for its patrons. The menu features various options including Iced Coffee beverages such as Iced Latte and Iced Mocha, with different calorie counts provided. Additionally, PURO serves as a lookout tower historically used by ships.
Went to Puro tonight with a group of 21 to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and wow, what can I say! This was a huge order for the chefs to do in one go, yet all 6 dishes that all of us received were divine, beautifully cooked, beautifully presented, and the expertise that went into each component was nothing short of artistic mastery. The textures, flavours, colours, smells, heaven on the senses. The amount of prep, work and detail in each item left me in awe. Then there was the service which was wonderful, attention to detail and announcing the dishes, offering top ups for our drinks etc without being overbearing. What an incredible little place, massive well done and a huge thank you to Tommy and the team!

This was one of the best meals we have ever had. It was a birthday treat for my wife, and she was very happy with all that was consumed. The service was excellent and the nice touch of the chef who came and presented the dish was a fantastic addition. We have eaten at Tom Kerridges "hand of flowers" and I thought this meal was far superior. This is my 1st time leaving a review, so maybe that's a testament of how much we loved the food. I had the Mackeral starter, followed by the duck and finished with the cheese and carrot jam crumpet. My wife had the pork belly starter, roasted vension, and the fig, blackcurrant and mascarpone pudding. The pricing was on par with the service and quality of the meals served. On another note, make sure if its a birthday treat say when you book. We didn't, because many times before no surprise came. And this time the four tables around us had an extra surprise. Shame, but this just shows that extra touch. We will definitely returning, good job Puro.

Exquisite Experience and food lives here. Menu was a valentine menu which might be different from the norms. As a gourmet, I cannot fault all of the food and service that was served to me during my time here. Traveled 1hr30min to dine here and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I shall be back and I deeply recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous meal with impeccable service! Creative, delicious and beautifully presented. Some lovely wine recommendations too and refreshingly at sensible prices. Highly recommended!

Lovely meal and service at PURO. A small and stylish restaurant, with friendly and attentive service. My wife is Coeliac and needs to eat Gluten Free and we had immediate confidence from communication around booking, then in the menu and order process. Clear demonstration of creating a safe and rarely for a Coeliac a really pleasurable dining experience. Being confident, then having exceptional alternatives and adaptation is something that many can learn from. We both enjoyed a 3 course set menu, and I also had a paired wine flight which was fantastic value at an additional £20. All in all, with drinks it was around £90 a head but you get high quality ingredients and in full credit to the kitchen, thoughtfully put together dishes with amazing textures and flavours. All in all, a real gem of a restaurant and a great team. Thanks 🙏🏻

My first visit to PURO, a birthday celebration booked by my daughter. From the moment we walked we were made very welcome, The dining area is contemporary and modern, I liked the bookshelves filled with some amazing cookbooks for inspiration. We opted for the a la carte menu over the tasting menu, This menu, perfectly sized with enough choice but not overbearing. Also included nice extras along with the three main courses. Initially presented with some of the softest honey soaked brioche with a whipped marmite butter to get us started, we knew there were good things to come. A warming miso dashi soup followed before we were presented with our first course, I opted for the poussin others took the pork belly, every plate was perfectly appointed and the dish presented to us at the table, the food was amazing, perfect balance of flavour and texture. To follow, venison, others took the duck or the brill, again perfect plates of food, presented and explained as they arrived. Our final course chocolate cremeax was amazing smooth velvety chocolate with a light almond cream perfectly balanced with a sharp yoghurt sorbet. As we sat back feeling satisfied, a final plate of treats came out for us to enjoy as we finished our wine and sat back thinking about the amazing food over the last few hours.

Nestled in the charming town of Clevedon, Scoozi is a delightful Italian restaurant that captures the essence of authentic dining. With its inviting atmosphere featuring cozy booth seating and rustic exposed brickwork adorned with framed pictures, it offers a warm and welcoming environment for guests. The highlight here is undoubtedly the wood-fired pizza oven, which produces deliciously crispy pizzas that are sure to satisfy any craving.
My first visit to Scoozi,to celebrate my daughter’s exam success- we did the lunchtime set menu, which was really good value. I had the Goats cheese mushrooms for starters followed by the Swordfish. Both courses were very tasty. The main menu looked very comprehensive too, with lots of fish and vegetarian options so we will definitely be back!

What a wonderful experience the restaurant is absolutely wonderful, we had the day menu and as you know I am very fussy. I had the starter and main course £21.90 and this included a glass of fizz. The food was delicious cooked by someone who really cared about what they did. All the ingredients were quality and it really made the difference. All the staff were amazing really friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming back a very enjoyable couple of hours. The convenience were down stairs but were immaculate lovely and clean with paper towels.

Came here for a lunch meal deal on a Friday from a recommendation. It was busy, but the service and atmosphere were excellent. It is a relatively small menu for the meal deal, but very good value. We had soup of the day (smoked haddock and bacon) starter, seafood casserole and sticky toffee pudding dessert with a bottle of white wine. The quality and quantity was really good. Total cost came to just over £60 for two people, so good value. Recommend

Went just before Xmas so the restaurant was v busy but the staff were so lovely (and patient with some members of my party) and very helpful. I had the prawn linguine and the prawns were cooked so beautifully. The set menu also looked great. Would visit again!

We have been going here on and off for many years. This time we thought we'd break our journey on the M5 by having a good lunch in a nice setting rather than join a few hundred other lost souls in the motorway services! So glad we did. Friday lunchtime and no booking but we were welcomed and accommodated in style. We could have chosen to eat off of the great value two course lunch menu - which is excellent. Instead we just went for a main off the a la carte menu. The king prawn linguine was excellent and the prawn and crab risotto was perfect. We just added an excellent mixed side salad and it was more than enough food for us. This is a genuinely nice restaurant on the main shopping street in the old part of town. The atmosphere is nice, the decor is modern, the staff are lovely and very welcoming and above all the food was perfect. It wasn't the first time we've dropped by for a meal and it certainly won't be the last.

All of our food was delicious, I had the Calzone which was huge and satisfying. It is always on the uncomfortable side of cool in this particular Scoozi and we were closest to the kitchen. This is a lovely place to eat though it would be better if it were warmer. I work outdoors and don't feel the cold normally.

Parking scam. Do not visit Went for a drink two weeks ago. We were there 30mins and now have a £60 parking fine. The sign as you enter says “Customer parking 11:00 to midnight”. There is nothing clear to suggest not parking there while using the establishment. There should be clear signage starting their ludicrous system, and there quite simply isn’t. Very deceptive and borderline criminal. Will never visit this place again and will ensure none of my friends and family do. Disgusted. With regards Bristol inn’s response: Firstly, there is no additional signage in the car park. Just the sign stating “customers only” with a time window in alignment with pub opening times, this is deceiving and wouldn’t raise alarm bells. Many pubs have a private land sign stating patrons only, this isn’t dissimilar, and it certainly doesn’t state anything about penalty fees or a parking system. If there is no parking and there are penalty fees it should be clear. (“No parking, penalty fees apply” and certainly no mention of “Customers only and a time window in alignment with pub opening times) The detail should be displayed in the car park, but it isn’t. You mention about the console at the end of the bar. I’ve never noticed this, I simply went to the centre of the bar where the bar staff are, and not once has anything been mentioned to me about the parking system. It would seem this is the same with the dozens of other frustrated customers who have posted reviews regarding this. It’s just not good enough. You are shying away from the fact your customers are being scammed with the screen of it’s not our problem, it’s not our car park. is is your problem and is surely your responsibility to ensure the signage is clear and that your customers are protected. You don’t make every effort to inform costumers. I wasn’t informed and neither were the dozens of other customers who have wrote reviews about this topic. If we were aware we wouldn’t have bloody parked there and thrown away £60. I did try to call yesterday, the call went to answerphone and guess what. The main topic on the recording is about parking fines. (If you are enquiring about a parking fine please contact the parking company directly, we do own the car park etc, etc) This clearly confirms you know there is a problem, and equally highlights your lack of care or compassion with regards rectifying it. I have visited other pubs who operate parking fee systems and impose penalties, and all have been clearly signed regarding this. Yours isn’t. There’s no way I will pay your fine.

Brilliant owners and staff! I had a return from travelling gathering here with all my family and friends, around 50-60 people. The Bristol were very helpful in organising the event and sectioned off certain areas of the pub for us! They also let me put a buffet out. The owner also checked in a few times to make sure everything was going well which I thought was very kind! The party spent a lot of time in the pub and also outside in the massive garden area they have. Overall massive success and i am very grateful for them hosting :)
